Fabrication 

Our highly skilled workforce is experienced in manufacturing products for a multitude of applications across a broad range of industries. Our extensive fabrication and welding production area covers 3,000 meters and has a maximum crane lifting capacity of 40 tones. We are able to fabricate products of any size from small buckets to large items that are of any transportable size.

We work with a variety of materials including mild steel, stainless steel, carbon steel, brass and copper.

Improving the efficiency of production processes

VMV’s provides fabrication solutions to your engineering requirements and is able to help companies improve efficiency of production processes. By modifying existing plant, we can improve productivity and throughput without the major investment.

Our cross industry experience and extensive knowledge means that we are able to quickly understand manufacturing processes and interpret specific problems within existing systems. We are then able to design and fabricate a cost effective and practical solution.

We work with our customers to interpret their ideas and use this as a basis to design and develop machinery and products that meet their needs. Our flexibility and ability to respond quickly enables us to adapt to changes in a design or specification.

 Machining

We have experience of finished machined components across a wide range of applications. Our in-house machining department sits alongside our fabrication and welding capability, enabling us to offer precision engineered components as part of our complete service.

Our machining department has state of the art CNC milling machines, lathes, vertical borers  capable of producing a wide range of high quality machined components accurately and reliably; from smaller items including pins, bushes, wheels and housings through to larger items such as large shafts, gear boxes and bed plates. Our machines are capable of manufacturing components to complement our fabrication products, in addition to machining for our own in house fabricated products and turnkey solutions. 

Design

We manage the whole project from start to finish and break the procedure down into its component parts. Our process ensures that the integrity and functionality of a design is verified at an early stage so that expensive alterations do not need to be made at a later stage of the project. In addition to cost savings, our customers have the added benefits of a single point of contact, in house expertise and follow up.

We also work closely with external designers and provide advice on how to develop a design into a viable product that can be fabricated.

 Painting & Finishing

Few companies offer a painting and finishing service in house. As part of our comprehensive service, our fettling and painting area enables us to of offer a variety of paint finishes for our fabrications. We use airless spray equipment.

Products can be painted in whatever finish the client requires for the product. Painting and finishing services we can offer include:

• Prime finish
• Gloss finish
• Galvanized finishes for products to prevent rust
• Shot blasting
• Various multi-coated systems

Project Management

VMV Engineering provides a complete project management service from start to finish, from initial concepts, design, manufacture, painting and finishing through to on-site commissioning and hand over.
